Winter Hill - Tuesday 15 September

A lovely afternoon for a trot over Winter Hill – gorgeous light meant too much stopping for pics along the way, but hey that’s what this retirement lark is all about  : )

Yr Aran – 30th August

Bank Holiday Monday is not a day for the summit of Snowdon with its hundreds of visitors and so in better weather than yesterday we headed along the Watkin Path we ascended the steep grassy ridge up to the summit of Y Aran.  Not a soul seen  but with great views of Snowdon and Crib Goch on the other side of the valley

Bank Holiday Weekend at Beudy Mawr

A bit of a catch up from a weekend at the Rucksack Club hut in Nant Peris a couple of weeks ago.  Can’t believe how little time there is in the week now that we’re retired!  Smile

The Prom from The Pier

A change in weather on Saturday saw us heading up the valley from Creosor through the disused Rhosydd Quarry and up onto the summit of Moelwyn Mawr where the clad descended and robbed us of any views to be had
