Good Friday on The Pike

Something of a tradition to climb up to the Pike on Good Friday.  Strange to see the places we love to run in transformed into a fairground, complete with burger stands and the whole malarkey.  Still, a great opportunity for people watching.  So here’s a few that I spotted  Smile

Teenager With Altitude–Anniversary Waltz 2014

A great race organised by Steve and Wynn, which despite some unplanned complications ran like clockwork.  A link to some of the runners including the men’s and womens winners of the long race (TWA).  A great day on High Spy for us marshalls with amazingly clear views all around, so here’s a few of my fellow marshals, including two of the four-legged variety, one of which is aptly named Marshall!

By this point the runners have covered about 13 miles and climbed almost 7,000ft, so a couple look slightly fatigued Smile
