Couldn’t resist this one of Fiddler’s Ferry from the A6 tonight – frost on the fields already at dusk.
A few below from Sunday’s outing across the fields
Landlord’s Farm, Aspull with flooded fields
The old and the new
Sunshine and clouds
Completely clagged in on Winter Hill – just two of us out for the regular Saturday morning outing with a fortuitous hook up with a third member of the group later in the morning
by Pike Cottage on Georges Lane
Run in to Top Barn
Rivington Village Green – stocks
A quick change of clothes after the run to meet up with friends for a coffee at Rvington Village Tea Room where the cherry scones were to die for! After lunch the sun shone and the light was fantastic.
Sunshine on the drystone wall
And then the cloud rolled in and a brief but heavy shower arrived : (
Before the sun shone again
Quick shower on arriving home but a brilliant sunset dragged me out to the top of the lane to see this glorious sunset.
The mast from Aspull
Wonderful day out and about and a super meal out with friends in the evening – doesn’t get much better than this
More stunning light drew me out for a run earlier than normal on a Sunday morning.
…and I wasn’t disappointed
Pockets of frost in some of the field shaded from the sun
and a just ploughed field
huge clouds heading in
found my way to the bus graveyard
Up to the Wingates Trigpoint
Having just got to the trigpoint, the furthest point on my route a shower of rain came on. It didn’t last long and I headed on with the sun returning strongly.
Mist after the rain
Just after the rain
