Westhoughton Trigpoint – Sunday 9th September

Finding myself home alone today as Ian tackles the long course at the Mountain Trial I opted for a local run over the tracks and paths from the front door.   Found some great little trods of interest when time is short and visited my nearest trigpoint which is just a couple of miles from the house.  I actually tried to get to this trigpoint on Wednesday evening at dusk when the paths weren’t so obvious, hence today’s recce.

Sunset on Wed night somewhere ‘near’ the trigpoint!
